Start your job searchMarks Sattin are delighted to be partnering up with a long standing client who are looking for a Payroll Team Leader to join on a 6-9 months period.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Professional to join a busy Payroll team.
Key Responsiblilites
- Supervise the accurate and timely processing of all payroll
- Oversee the daily operations of the payroll team
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation to drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of statutory regulations, including PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments, and pensions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the payroll administration team, supporting their delivery of both weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
- Manage payroll system upgrades, including testing and the implementation of new features or functionality.
- Provide support to the Group Payroll Manager on various ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
Experience:
- Effective people management skills
- 5+ years payroll experience
- CIPP Qualification desirable
