Start your job searchMarks Sattin are representing a leading, specialist investment manager that is looking to hire a recently qualified finance professional to join their London finance team as a fund accountant.
The role revolves around the production of the fund management accounts for the various funds that the firm in question manages; the successful candidate will take ownership of day to day tasks relating to these funds including LP requests. The position will leverage off the skills and knowledge learned from your accountancy qualification whilst also providing you with challenges, new experiences and the opportunity to learn and develop. Specifically your responsibilities will include;
- Production of quarterly fund management accounts for the funds
- Preparation of quarterly investor report, in conjunction with Portfolio Management team
- Preparation of annual Financial Statements
- Management of capital call and drawdown process for the funds
- Calculation of management fees
- Preparation and co-ordination of UK and US tax returns
- Provide support for investment transactions in relation to the funds
- Manage cash book and invoicing for the funds
- Ad hoc investor queries
- Other ad hoc work for the Finance Team
The company itself focuses primarily on real assets, primarily in the renewable energy space. They have a strong culture and a driven group of employees across their business functions.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) currently working in a fund administration role focusing on any closed ended asset class; e.g. private equity, debt, real assets.
Remuneration will be in the region of £55,000 depending on experience with discretionary bonus and other benefits.
