Real Estate Fund Finance - Hybrid (12m Contract)

Location: London / Hybrid
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

An exciting opportunity to join a leading alternative investment firm to focus on establishing new closed ended fund structures and reporting requirements across renewables, infrastructure and credit/debt assets.

If you are a PE or Real Estate Fund Accountant but want to get away from the monthly quarterly grind and do the exciting transactional stuff, this could be the role for you!! In this 12-month fixed-term contract, you'll support the management team in designing and implementing new funds and products, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and controls to drive growth in the Private Markets business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with the fund controllers, the investment team and TPAs to onboard new assets
  • Collating completion statements for purchases
  • Passing on accounting advice for establishing new closed ended, Lux domiciled fund structures
  • Assembling fund flow calculations, TPA payment details & asset reference data
  • Performing post deal compliance
  • Setting up SPVs and bank accounts
  • Carrying our vendor KYC
  • Identify and address deficiencies in existing processes
  • Update governance documents and set up service level agreements with the TPAs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the onboarding of new products and service providers

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant or Part Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CPA, ACMA, etc.)
  • Experience with open or closed-ended investment funds (PE, Infra, Debt, Real) and relevant corporate governance structures
  • Operational and finance experience in alternative closed ended investment funds across Europe, Luxembourg experience is beneficial
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
