About the client and role

A leading private equity firm that is undergoing a major finance transformation are seeking an experienced hands-on Project Manager to implement Oracle Cloud ERP system.

The role will help centralise finance operations into a global shared services model while driving the successful implementation of a new Oracle Cloud ERP system. This is a high-profile position with visibility to senior stakeholders across Finance, Change and Technology.

The assignment is offered at £700-800 per day.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a large-scale finance transformation project, implementing Oracle Cloud ERP, overseeing scoping, planning and delivery against budget and timelines
  • Manage the transition of finance operational processes into an offshore shared service model, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and adoption
  • Oversee the implementation of a new Oracle Cloud ERP platform, aligning system capabilities with group requirements and finance best practice
  • Act as the central liaison between Finance, Technology, Change, and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment
  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks, risk management protocols and reporting standards across the programme
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks, manage issues and dependencies, and oversee change requests throughout delivery
  • Provide leadership and structure to cross-functional teams, fostering accountability and collaborative delivery

What we are looking for in the candidate

  • Strong background in finance transformation programmes, ideally covering shared services transitions and ERP implementations
  • Hands-on experience with delivering Oracle Cloud ERP rollouts and process improvement within AP or wider finance functions
  • Finance background and accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA) would be an advantage.
  • Skilled at managing senior stakeholders across multiple locations, with excellent communication and reporting ability
  • Must have worked in a financial services environment, ideally Private Equity sector.

The role will ideally be commencing ASAP but for the right candidate, the business may be able to accommodate a 1 month notice period.

They currently work on a hybrid basis of 3 days per week in the office based in London. There may be some flexibility there for candidates based in other areas of the UK with the right skillset.
