Start your job searchMy Client is looking for experienced Senior Consultants, Managers and Senior Managers in the areas of Supply Chain and Operations, Life Sciences and Fast Moving Consume Goods (FMCG) who are passionate about improving business end-to-end supply chains.
You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of large scale, complex supply chain management and operations transformation projects, including design and implementation stages. In your role you will be working with client organisations in the manufacturing and life sciences areas to enhance their supply chain performance through digital technology .You will also work alongside the wider Supply Chain & Operations team within the company to expand the Supply Chain offering for clients in the Manufacturing and Life Sciences sectors.
Client Responsibilities
- Assisting in the delivery of large scale operational excellence and continuous improvement projects across all levels of an organization,
- Supporting consistent delivery of high-quality project deliverables on time and within budget;
- Managing and monitoring project logs, including project plans, risk and issue logs, project budgets, resource plans, etc.;
- Developing and updating project reports, including status reports.
- Supporting development of clear, high-quality work products for clients (with guidance).
- Tactical and process oriented problem-solving. Quickly learning new processes to uncover new offerings that may assist our clients.
- Building relationships with client personnel and delivering quality client services. Striving to assist our clients uncover additional areas of opportunity.
- Understand the company and its service lines and actively assessing what the firm can deliver to serve clients.
- Utilising digital technology to enhance end-to-end supply chain performance and manufacturing operations.
- Communicating effectively with the company's engagement team, the client and internal and external stakeholders, as required;
- Working confidently with clients, to support building 'trusted advisor' relationships.
Internal Responsibilities
- Building strong internal relationships within Consulting and across other services lines;
- Developing and maintaining your personal training and development plan to ensure you continue to update and improve your skill profile on an ongoing basis;
- Supporting collaboration and teaming activities across engagements and across the TE team;
- Building understanding of the company's service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients.
Experience Required
- Be degree qualified in supply chain, engineering, science, business management or other relevant discipline.
- Experience in supply chain and operations environments in the manufacturing, life sciences or FMCG sectors.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent, Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
- Hands-on mentality, ability and interest to work with all levels of the manufacturing organisation from production operations to senior management in manufacturing organisations
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
- Ability to solve complex problems, present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions.
- Additional professional qualifications, such as Prince2®, PMP or equivalent qualifications are desirable.
