Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with a Leeds Centre based Media/Marketing company who are looking for a Purchase Ledger clerk!
They have recently relocated their international Finance team to Leeds and are now looking for someone to assist their AP Lead with day-to-day transactional duties. They currently operate across 13 countries and have plans to grow their Leeds finance team over the coming years, with great career opportunities available.
They will offer candidates up to £28,000 for this role. Please note that they are mainly office based but can allow flexibility to work from home if needed.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensure that all purchase ledger balances are accurately recorded
- Process international payments to oversee suppliers
- Reconcile high volume accounts payable balances to supplier statements and rectify differences
- Ensure that all suppliers are paid in a timely manner
- Able to solve queries relating to invoices, credit notes and payments
- Processing Purchase Orders
- To provide cover for the duties performed by other members of the accounts department as may be required
- Be proactive in suggesting and implementing improvements to the accounts department procedures
- Experience of working with Sage 200 would be advantageous but not essential
