An excellent opportunity for a motivated and collaborative QA professional to work on the exciting suit of solutions. Working closely with developers and project management using agile methodology, industry standard processes and approaches to ensure our products are fit for purpose and meet our customers' requirements.
This role reports to the QA Manager, within the Technical Services department.
Your Responsibilities
- Follow QA processes and procedures to ensure quality in solutions
- Produce test plans and scripts based on in depth analysis and discussion of business requirements
- Co-ordinate with project stakeholders to deliver assigned testing requirements
- Provide QA signoff for releases to deployment and support departments
- Review processes, defects & live issues to improve test processes and aid in defect prevention
- Provide QA estimates for development projects and enhancements
- Use appropriate automation tools to optimise day to day tasks
- Occasional potential travel to customer sites, this might involve overseas travel
- Any other duties as and when required
The Skills and Experience You'll Need
- Effective communicator with technical and non-technical business teams
- Practical experience of test stage design, planning and execution
- Technical testing experience of software solutions based on Windows & Linux Server platforms
- Experienced backend tester of data processing applications
- Good TSQL scripting skills and knowledge of database technologies
- Problem solving and analytical attitude to issues
- Up to date knowledge of industry testing methods and techniques
- Working knowledge of Release Management methodologies
- Practical experience of tools for test management and test automation
- Awareness of application security and vulnerabilities
