Real Estate Tax Manager
- Permanent
Manchester, Greater Manchester
The details
I'm working with a leading firm that's growing its Real Estate Tax practice and looking to bring in a Manager who wants high-profile work, fast progression and genuine influence.
This team advises major real estate funds, institutional investors, REITs, private capital and public sector bodies on UK and pan-European real estate. The work spans commercial, industrial logistics, offices, student accommodation, retail and hotels-covering everything from structuring and due diligence through to ongoing compliance and stamp taxes.
If you're looking for scale, there's plenty of it. Current and recent transactions range from £60m to over £1bn, with a client portfolio that continues to expand.
The role:
As a Manager in the Real Estate Tax team, you will:
Work on market-leading transactions across real estate and infrastructure, including multi-jurisdictional deals.
Take ownership of client delivery, supported by a senior leadership team that gives you room to make an impact.
Lead and develop junior team members, helping shape their careers.
Build relationships across the wider real estate and tax network.
Operate in a team with strong tenure, visibility and a clear path for progression.
Enjoy flexibility-reduced hours, job share and other arrangements genuinely considered.
What you'll need:
ACA / ACCA / CTA (or equivalent).
Strong UK corporate tax experience-ideally with exposure to real estate.
Experience reviewing work and developing junior team members.
Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
Desirable experience:
Real estate tax structuring-supporting clients on acquisitions and disposals.
Cross-border advisory and tax due diligence.
Tax compliance across real estate asset classes.
Business development or proposal involvement.
Experience with UK REITs or property fund set-ups.
If you're looking for a role where you can own your work, work with major names in the sector, and progress quickly in a high-performing team, please apply or reach out for more details.
