Start your job searchMarks Sattin are partnering with a leading financial services business in North Birmingham to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Analyst.
The key purpose of this role is to prepare accurate and timely regulatory reporting templates and similar external reports with a core focus on the more technically challenging areas of financial, capital and liquidity reporting for a regulated banking entity. The Regulatory Reporting Accountant will also be part of the team responsible for managing the regulatory reporting timetable and developing a transparent reporting framework with a strong and auditable control framework.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with prior experience of financial reporting.
- Have prior experience of working in financial services/banking environment.
- Basic Knowledge of the regulatory framework is essential.
- Basic knowledge of Basel 3 and/or CRD IV (including COREP) as well as preparation of Pillar III disclosures is desirable.
- Excellent communication & organisational skills are essential.
- Attention to detail and an ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively is essential.
