Start your job searchWe are working with an exciting and growing organisation based in Dublin as part of their global organisation. This position is responsible for supporting the Finance team in London and Dublin for regulatory reporting.
A broad role with development opportunities, requiring a combination of a high level of technical knowledge, good organizational skills and an ability to liaise across various business and support groups to achieve a variety of aims and objectives. This position will assist with the external and internal regulatory reporting of the UK and Irish entities of a global investment bank & Financial services provider
Duties will include:
- Preparation of prudential returns (including Capital reporting, large exposure reporting, Asset Encumbrance reporting).
- Preparation of Bank of England statistical reporting returns
- Supporting in the production of the ICAAP, ILAAP and the Recovery Plan for the organisations entities
- Reviewing reporting procedures, identifying problem areas and liaising with relevant persons to resolve issues as they arise.
- Maintaining a level of awareness with respect to new/existing business areas and associated financial products.
- Maintaining a level of awareness of any regulatory developments that may impact the reporting process as well as a sound knowledge of regulatory reporting (compliance) rules and regulations.
- Assist where required in all aspects of regulatory risk analysis for all the UK and Irish entities, including Board governance, input into regulatory policies, competence around relevant regulatory supervisory statement and policy.
The successful candidate will have:
- Regulatory reporting experience within financial services (Funds preferably) of 4-5 years.
- Extensive knowledge of reporting within CAAP and ILAAP
- Previous experience preparating prudential returns
- Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills to be able to juggle competing priorities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to provide guidance to the local and Head Office finance teams on specific issues
- Excellent technical and excel skills with a strong desire to learn and develop your career within the regulatory function in the Financial Services industry.
