A progressive practice with elegant offices based in central London is looking to hire a Russian speaking Accountant to join its busy Business Consultancy team. The position requires you to undertake a varied client-facing role to perform duties across core areas of the business such as business consultancy, company formations and accounting services. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable self starter and the role will provide an excellent commercial grounding within all aspects of accounting
Your responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:
Weekly Cash flow Analysis
Processing and posting Petty Cash / expense claims / Credit card
Processing weekly and monthly P.A.Y.E
Posting purchase ledger invoices to Sage and payments using Barclays BIB
Raising invoices and posting to Sage
Dealing with supplier queries
Credit control
Weekly bank & petty cash reconciliations
Reconciling production cost reports.
Various ad-hoc reporting
Preparation of statutory returns (VAT, Payroll etc)
Budget preparation and control alongside producers
Taxation
The ideal candidate will be looking to start or be studying their ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent). You will be numerate, professional and organised. It would be beneficial to have a sound knowledge of bookkeeping and must be fluent in both Russian and English.
