A tech services company for the property industry based in Central London is looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant on a temp to perm basis.

The role is hybrid and will work in the office 2 days per week.

Netsuite experience is highly preferred.

The Senior Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:
Invoicing Operations:

  • Ensure accurate invoice creation via daily QA of "Ready to Bill" report for accurate and complete invoicing details. Work with Sales Ops and BD to ensure data quality.
  • Issue certification, AP, and AS invoices within 3 days of hitting ready to bill milestones.
  • Manage partial payment backlog and establish process for ongoing controls process of split payments.
  • Manage inbound invoicing queries from clients


Accounts Receivable (A/R):
? Manage overdue invoices until successful collection
? Process effective client outreach across systems and communication channels - manually and automatically
? Ensure effective internal alignment with BD, CS and other teams, and internal escalation to the right teams, as needed over time
? Ensure high standards of commercial relationships and timely communications with clients and other stakeholders externally and internally
? Manage documentation collation for clients to support prompt payments (eg. insurance, tax, certificates of residences, bank letters)
? Deliver bank reconciliations for A/R

Accounts Payable (A/P):
? Manage supplier invoices until successful payment
? Ensure effective and timely communication with suppliers including realistic expectation setting and building relationships
? Work with suppliers who require information to collate and provide all necessary documentation
? Assist, collaborate and play an active role with the Finance team members managing, processing and reconciling payments - as required over time
? Deliver A/P-related inputs to the Finance Control team (e.g. in the context of month end processes)
? Deliver bank reconciliations for A/P

Team Collaboration & Other Finance Operations:
? Monitor, process, draft and send messages from the Finance team mailbox
? Be a proactive team player with the Finance team and the Operations team
? Assist with specific tasks and projects within the Finance and Operations fields as required over time

The ideal Senior Accounts Assistant will:

  • Have solid experience across both Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Have intermediate Excel skills
  • Have previously used Netsuite software (highly desirable)
  • Be available on a short notice
  • Be resilient and have strong attention to detail
  • Have strong communication skills


There is an immediate need for this role so a notice period of 1 week or less is needed.
