My client is a publicly listed real estate investment and development business based in Kensington & Chelsea. They are looking for a Senior Commercial Real Estate Accountant to join their team ASAP on an initial 3-6 month contract.

This is a very varied and hands-on role with great exposure across the business at senior levels.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Partnering with the commercial business acting as their main point of contact on all finance matters
  • Advising on all finance and accounting queries for the Commercial team
  • Assisting with the cash flow management of the businesses rental stream including liaising with managing agents
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly property reports
  • Run the budget and prepare quarterly management accounts for the Commercial business
  • Supporting the property strategy planning process
  • Involvement in valuation process of prospective and current assets
  • Assisting with the production of annual statutory accounts
  • Managing the audit process
  • Ad hoc project work related to the Commercial property portfolio

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent) with previous experience gained from within another Real Estate business. You must also have excellent excel skills, be experienced with financial modelling and be confident with communicating and building relationships across the business.

Due to the urgent nature of this role, candidates on longer than one months' notice cannot be considered for this role.

Please also note that you would be required to be in the office 5 days per week. Lunches would be provided.
