Start your job searchReporting to senior management and working closely with the CFO, you will be responsible for supporting the broader Finance team for all Commercial Finance initiatives.
Extremely interesting role, it moves away from traditional accounting completely and instead focuses on their M&A and other strategic commercial projects. Huge emphasis on optimisation across the business and great career development responsibilities.
You will be required to build strong relationships across various teams and develop a solid understanding of the business dynamics across the different areas.
Responsibilities:
- Ingesting and maintaining complex data sets from various product systems to help the team drive commercial insights and support business planning
- Adding value across the business through project-based work in collaboration with the senior leadership team and multiple departments
- Working across a broad portfolio of businesses with different profiles and needs
- Preparing analyses, recommendations and presentations together with key stakeholders across finance, strategy & investments and operations
- Ownership of finance driven, strategic and operational tasks and be actively involved in driving growth and scaling the business
- Performing financial analyses and assisting in valuation exercises
- Participating in M&A financial due diligence sessions and producing analyses
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant
- Prior experience in M&A, strategic analysis, structuring, capital optimization or finance in financial services, highly desirable
- Strong communicator - ability to build relationships and liaise with senior stakeholders
- Strong IT skillset (data manipulation, Excel, Powerpoint)
