Start your job searchWe are representing a leading property-focused investment manager based in the City that is looking to hire a qualified accountant with real estate fund or investment accounting experience. This is to join as a Senior Financial Accountant in their growing Finance team.
The role is broad and the ideal first step outside of practice for any ambitious ACA. The position will leverage off you're skills and knowledge learned from your ACA qualification whilst also provide you with challenges, new experiences and the opportunity to learn and develop. You will get exposure to all aspects of the finance function and be responsible for periodic reporting on their SPV's. Some of the responsibilities include:
Preparation of the monthly management reporting for each SPV and the assets it owns under both local and group reporting GAAPs.
- Preparation of detailed and high-quality monthly variance analysis.
- Preparing of year end financial statements and assisting with year end audits.
- Assisting on the tax compliance for each SPV including quarterly VAT reporting.
- Liaising with 3rd party providers to ensure delivery of timely and high quality reporting.
- Cash management including monthly distributions.
- Supporting the treasury team with lender covenant reporting.
- Working with the Asset Manager to provide adhoc financial analysis.
- Adhoc finance tasks and project work as requested.

The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified with accounts preparation experience. Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a tight-knit team and exceptional attention to detail are all essential.
