Service Charge Accountant - London
Seeking a Service Charge Accountant for a 6-month contract within a Real Estate business based in Central London. In this role you will oversee the financial management prepare and manage service charge budgets, reporting, finance business partnering and year end accounting support.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage annual service charge budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
- Preparation of Accounts: Produce Service Charge Actuals, reconciling customer payments and contractor payments to ensure accurate financial records.
- Year-End Accounts: Prepare and finalise Year-End Accounts, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with industry regulations.
- Finance Business Partnering: Client meetings as necessary to explain service charge accounts and procedures, addressing any queries or concerns.
- Reporting: Produce high-quality service charge reports on a quarterly basis, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2+ years working in a service charge
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent
- Part-qualified or QBE
