The details
A dynamic and growing energy business is looking to recruit a Settlements Analyst to join its commercial operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the GB energy market and work closely with trading, finance, and risk teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate trade booking and confirmations
- Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies with counterparties
- Assist in the development of reporting and system improvements
- Support regulatory and month-end reporting
- Contribute to collateral and cashflow modelling
What We're Looking For:
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Degree in a numerate or business-related subject
Energy or financial market experience is helpful but not essential.
