Strategic Finance Manager | Remote | Up to £29.00 per hour | Short term contract

Marks Sattin are delighted to be recruiting for a Strategic Finance Manager for a public sector organisation. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining financial strategy and plans for the organisation's long term objectives

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Programme's medium-long term financial plan, ensuring alignment with funding profiles and high-level plans
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on long-term financial planning initiatives
  • Support negotiations on funding requirements
  • Build and maintain financial models for both short- and long-term analysis
  • Lead projects to implement changes to financial frameworks or strategies


About you:

  • ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified accountant
  • Public sector experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial frameworks and policies within the public sector
  • Strong financial analysis, modelling, and presentation skills with strategic impact.
  • Familiarity with monitoring budgets and business planning processes in the public sector.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
