We are currently working with a large bank that is looking to recruit Tax specialists into their Tax Compliance, Reporting and Forecasting team who are ACA or CTA qualified with 1 to 3 years Post Qualification Experience.

Whilst the title suggests that this is a vanilla tax compliance role the reality is actually the opposite. The team undertake the tax compliance, reporting and forecasting responsibilities for various entities used by the wider front office structuring team. Therefore the role is hugely diverse and involves learning about and working on the tax implications of the following technical areas:

  • Loan relationships
  • Derivative contracts
  • DTR
  • Controlled foreign companies
  • International tax, particularly residence and tax treaties
  • Anti avoidance, particularly relating to the above topics
  • Various Tax Case law
  • Relevant accounting standards e.g. IAS 12, 32 and 39

In addition to a market leading salary and benefits package this is an opportunity to join a large group tax function that provided outstanding scope for future career development.

This role will be highly sought after and interested parties should contact us urgently to discuss the role further and receive the full detailed role specification. Please contact Graham Young at Marks Sattin to discuss this opportunity in more detail:
