My client, a top consulting firm in Dublin City Centre, is expanding their consulting practice and specifically building their Technology Consulting (TC) team. Due to this expansion they are seeking to recruit high achieving Technical Project Management individuals to be part of their growing business.

The opportunity

By joining the Technology Consulting Team, you'll work in high-performing teams that deliver exceptional client service, enabling organizations to grow, innovate, protect and optimise their business performance - playing your part in building a better working world. You will be helping companies realise the value they can gain from their IT investments - supporting strategy and solving a whole range of tasks: from the requirement to respond to the ever-changing demands of the market, to advising on enterprise intelligence and implementing of ERP systems.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Project Manager, you will build valuable relationships with our clients through demonstrating exceptional client delivery. You'll also have the responsibility to help grow and win new business by contributing to proposals and client presentations, and by understanding our service offerings actively identify opportunities to better serve our clients. You will participate in and, as required, lead TC engagements, managing the financial aspects of client engagement. You will also get to draw on your skills and experience, creating innovative insights for clients looking to develop their change agenda to deliver value and improve their operations.

To qualify for the role you must have experience in a number of the following areas:

  • Experience in delivering business value from IT as a technical project manager
  • Experience in being able to take a 'big picture' delivery and project management view as well as being able to work at a detailed level across a broad range of contract types and engagement approaches
  • Experience in delivering within several large-scale IT transformation projects, taking ownership of delivery across internal client teams
  • Experience in seeking the alignment of business and IT, operating across organisational and technology silos to drive common approaches, and in delivering sustainable agile and re-usable solutions
  • Knowledge of a range of Project Management approaches including PRINCEII, PMP, Agile, etc.
  • A Project Management track record with a blue-chip consulting or systems integration firm or as an IT Manager within a leading Enterprise/Organisation
  • Experience in one or more of the following sectors: Utilities, Banking, Consumer Goods, Tech and Media, Public Sector, Health, Transport

Ideally, you'll also have experience in one or more of the following specialism

  • Cloud Integration
  • Data Analytics
  • ERP System Replacement/Upgrade
  • Project Management.
