Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a reputable Technology Services business in Peterborough to recruit a Transactional Finance Manager to supervise and motivate a team of three Finance Assistants responsible for reconciliations, payments and banking.

The Transactional Finance Manager will report directly to the Financial Director, providing timely and accurate financial information surrounding reconciliations, payments and banking, and will also assist the Financial Director in monthly reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities of the Transactional Finance Manager include:

• Leading the three Finance Assistants with the monitoring and reconciliation of all customer accounts, balances and transactions
• Effectively leading, motivating and supporting the team to deliver great outputs of work
• Ensuring daily reconciliation deadlines are met in an accurate, informative and timely manner.
• Liaising with the Administration team to resolve errors and ensure they are corrected in a timely manner.
• Daily reconciliation of cash
• Maintaining the day to day accounting records of the corporate clients and follow up on issues, discrepancies and errors
• Payment Processing and day to day cash management
• Providing support to the Financial Director with the month end reporting process
• Balance sheet reconciliations

To be considered you must:

• Have experience in a Finance Team Leader role
• Have a recognisable Accounting Qualification
• Confident and experienced user of Excel (Advanced Level)
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience with banking & payment systems
• Calm under pressure, ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels and in other functions.
