I am recruiting a fantastic opportunity for a Treasury Manager to join this dynamic Group Treasury team in Lancashire. In this crucial role, you will oversee Trade Finance, manage a portfolio of guarantees, letters of credit, bonds, and surety bond issuances, and enhance the controls framework within the Group Treasury function.

This company is worldwide known, and offers a complex function, which will help you grow your treasury experience and profile further.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Instrument Creation: Oversee the end-to-end process of creating global bank guarantees and bonds for project execution, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Advise senior management on Treasury strategies, risk management, and capital allocation.
  • Deal Compliance: Ensure all Treasury transactions adhere to authorization rules and established policies.
  • Limit Monitoring: Track exposure limits, manage risks, and report breaches promptly.
  • Counterparty Management: Evaluate counterparties' creditworthiness to minimize risk.
  • Bank Accounts & Mandates: Maintain and manage bank accounts and dealing mandates, ensuring proper access and permissions.
  • Process Improvements: Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives in Treasury operations.

Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate, ideally with an ACT certificate in Treasury FundamentalsMinimum 3 years in Treasury, with a focus on transactional banking, cash management, liquidity, forex, and interest rate risk management.
  • Experience with UK and European banking regulations is essential.
  • Proficient in Excel (Lookups, PivotTables), knowledge of TMS systems and SAP is advantageous.
  • Delivery-focused, accurate under pressure, and able to meet tight deadlines.
