This leading Travel & Leisure Organisation based in Central London is looking to recruit an Accountant to the finance team, handling the EMEA region to cover maternity. Applicants to this role MUST have experience using JD Edwards and be able to start work immediately. The main responsibilities in this role will include:
· Working within the EMEA accounting team to facilitate the accurate and timely month end close process.
· Posting and processing journals on a daily basis
· Post AR receipt entries and exchange rate corrections for several key related party accounts.
· Prepare and review month end journals including accruals and prepayments.
· Post and code fixed asset and project spend invoices in JDE
· Prepare monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts
· Prepare group corporate reporting templates on a monthly basis for review.
· Day to day general ledger accounting for simple Treasury transactions.
· Regular review of bank statements for outstanding items. This will involve 30 multi-currency bank accounts being covered in all.
