Are you experienced within Accounting and Audits looking for the next step in your career? Currently I am supporting an Accountancy Practice based in Solihull who are looking to add a senior to their accounts and audit team. Looking for someone who has a variety of audit experience and able to support junior members of the team.

Main duties include:

  • Being the main point of contact for clients and being able to have a full understanding/take a brief of what they are looking for as a service.
  • Plan and undertake audit, accounts, taxation and other business-related activities on their behalf, ensuring completed work is accurate and professionally presented to clients.
  • Keeping up to date with relevant legislations in order to offer proper/appropriate actions towards client's needs.
  • Clear communication with clients, keeping them up to date with progress and resolving queries.
  • Escalate any issues where appropriate.
  • Supporting junior members of the team - delegating tasks, offering training, giving guidance etc
  • Liaising with director to plan budgets and targets in line with timescales.
  • Any other ad hoc duties required.

Ideal candidate:

  • 3+ years in Accounts and/or Audit
  • 3+ years' experience working with a practice.
  • Can commute to Solihull office, 5 days a week(hybrid working can be discussed case by case)
  • Managed portfolio of clients
  • Great Communication skills
  • Basic IT skills are essential.
