The details

Our client in the mining and raw materials industry is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable to join their fast paced team in London. Reporting into the Head of IT, this role sits in the IT department but will involve interaction with a range of global teams allowing you to get exposure to many company functions and process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice processing- Reviewing all invoices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the associated purchase order and submitting vendor invoices before month end
  • Tracking payment processes and holding regular meetings with the finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency, as well as providing service improvement suggestions
  • Maintenance of vendor records and management of end to end procurement processes
  • Manage the group asset registry and maintain IT asset lifecycle management processes for office locations, ensuring up to date and accurate inventory recording
  • Service delivery tasks- manage hardware purchases, purchase licenses and request quotations from vendors
  • General IT service desk admin tasks such as resolving tickets raised in service management queue, providing responses to incoming tickets, and assign to relevant teams
  • Additional ad-hoc financial duties and tasks

The ideal candidate will be a part qualified chartered accountant (ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent) with strong experience in Accounts Payable or a similar financial role. Experience in tech, IT or a large multi-national company is desirable as well as a bright and ambitious attitude and ability to consistently improve processes and assist teams.
