I am recruiting an ALM Modelling Manager role to join the team on a long term fixed term basis. Join this growing and well respected Financial Services business in West Yorkshire, as they are entering a period of growth and change.

Role

  • Build and maintain Asset and Liability Management (ALM) models
  • Design, develop and deliver new models or model rebuild and maintain Asset and Liability Management (ALM) model development to support the Society's new hedge management process
  • Ensure robust controls and comprehensive documentation exists
  • Work with the ALM team to support appropriate model use and understanding of controls
  • Presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders

About you

  • Proven experience working with ALM models within financial services and forecasting the balance sheet including knowledge of treasury instruments used by financial institutions to manage interest rate risk
  • Proven experience of data manipulation and modelling using SQL, Excel and other tools
  • Strong communication, engagement and influencing skills - demonstrating the ability to engage at all levels
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems such as Murex
  • Experience of using Python, VBA, SQL or other forecasting software
  • Knowledge of balance sheet risk metrics and how to model these

On offer is a salary of up to £65,000 + 10% Bonus, a generous pension contribution, a flexible working policy and private healthcare

Although a 12 month contract, there is scope for further progression into the wider Treasury, balance sheet management and capital markets teams.
