Finance Manager | Chester | Temp to Perm | Up to £70,000


A growing, fast-paced business is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Finance Manager to take ownership of group-level reporting and lead a small finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes and working across multiple entities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly group management accounts, including analysis and reconciliations
  • Oversee transactional finance teams and ensure compliance with controls
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, VAT returns, and payroll reconciliations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit preparation
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies across the finance function
  • Lead and develop a small team, ensuring timely and accurate reporting


About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
  • Ability to lead, influence, and build relationships across the business
