Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a fast-growing organisation seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join their central finance team in Leeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their finance career to gain broad exposure across management reporting, forecasting, and group accounting - all within a supportive and ambitious team.

For this role, our client will pay up to £30,000, offer hybrid working and study support (AAT/ACCA/CIMA).

The Role

• Prepare journals, reconciliations and month-end reports.
  
• Support with budgets, forecasts and group submissions.
  
• Assist in audit preparation and statutory reporting.
  
• Manage purchase orders, invoices and SAP entries.
  
• Collaborate with teams across the business to maintain accurate financial records.
  

Your Background

• Degree qualified or PQ AAT with strong Excel skills.
  
• Detail-oriented, organised and eager to learn.
  
• Excellent communicator and team player.
  
• Working towards or planning to study ACCA / CIMA / ACA.
  
• Experience in a group or multi-entity environment beneficial.
