Remote/ occasional travel to Gloucester HQ and Group Business Units required
Our client is a leading and growing national service provider recruiting for an Assistant Finance Business Partner. A newly created home working role with the occasional requirement to make it into their Gloucester HQ and Group Business Units. The successful candidate will work closely with a designated Finance Business Partner and will have the responsibility to look after self-contained business units.
Duties of the role include:
- Assisting with the preparation of month-end Management Accounts
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets
- Liaise with on-site operations team on day-to-day costing
- Carrying out unit performance analysis and assisting with financial modelling projects
- Ad-hoc duties as required
To be successful in your application you will need to be highly organised and be able to work in set deadlines. You will work well within a team as well as on your own with a great attention to detail.
Ideally you will be AAT qualified (or equivalent) and will have the ambition to study CIMA/ACCA or an equivalent qualification. You will need to have intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables/ v-lookups) and the ability to build rapport with both financial and non-financial team members. PowerBI knowledge is an advantage.
