Marks Sattin is recruiting for an Internal Audit Associate Director to join the Commerce and Industry risk consulting team. Undergoing an exciting period of growth, you will play a key role in delivering risk based audits.

In this wide reaching role you will undertake engagements which include programme health checks, board effectiveness reviews and external quality assessments, to name but a few. Consistantly increasing its market footprint, you will have an exciting chance to develop the intrenal control solution to a range of clients.

In the role you will:

• Manage a portfolio of clients including overseeing the delivery of the internal controls programmes, committee reporting and other responsibilities.
• Support our clients through the delivery of advisory as well as assurance control-based services which will provide you with the opportunity to be involved in a variety of different projects.
• Support the Partners and Directors in key business development activities for new work including targeting, writing proposals, presentations and thought leadership.
• Perform and manage of internal controls fieldwork and other specialist assignments such as effectiveness reviews.
• Plan for and engage the expertise of subject matter experts from across teams as required to provide support in the delivery of new components that enable us to meet the BEIS requirements.

To be considered, you will:

• Hold either ACA, CA, ACCA, IIA or CII (or equivalent) qualification.
• Have experience working with large, complex, listed and privately owned, organisations.
• Have the ability to execute controls documentation and testing in accordance with SOX, audit, and service organisation controls reporting standards. Up to date and aware of the upcoming changes to the UK corporate governance reform.
