We are actively seeking a Bookkeeper / Accountant role for a well established business in Stockport.

The main duties include:

• Overall responsibility for all elements of the internal finance function
• Implement appropriate month-end close process and cut-off
• Month-end bank and credit card reconciliation
• Support external Accountants with monthly reporting requirements
• Credit Control
• Sales Ledger
• Purchase Ledger
• Preparation of quarterly VAT Returns
• Payroll administration
• Maintain accurate financial records and identify financial process improvements

Our client is looking for a candidate who has:

• Management accounts experience
• Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger & Credit Control experience
• Experience of VAT returns
• Good Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
