Bookkeeper - Henley-on-Thames (parking) - £30,000 up to £40,000 (if you have knowledge of working with accounts up to trial balance stage and beyond)

An opportunity to join a firm of Chartered Accountants in Henley-on-Thames as a Bookkeeper, we are looking for individuals with at least 2 years experience in a similar role.

You'll be working in a team of around 10 people and will get hands in experience of working directly with the owners of the business, servicing clients ranging from independent traders sub £1m turnover to larger company of circa £30m turnover.

Looking for individuals with the following experience please:

🎯A good basic understanding of double entry🎯

🎯Sales and purchase ledgers🎯

🎯Bank reconciliations🎯

🎯Experience with software packages such as Sage, Quickbook or Xero, (or a good knowledge of such products so you can hit the ground running with these)🎯

🎯Payroll processing for small businesses and the associated software used for this; again, a good level of working experience with this would be useful🎯

🎯Experience of dealing with basic VAT returns and a knowledge of what makes these up🎯

🎯Experience with preparing and filing self assessment personal tax returns and using the associated software for these🎯
