Business Analyst - Data Remediation - Data Quality
A well renowned Top Tier Bank is seeking a Business Analyst to join a team to work on a Data Remediation programme. This exciting London opportunity is seeking to improve the banks data quality to fit with current and upcoming regulatory standards.
The candidates' responsibilities include:
- This role will require thorough analysis and articulation of relevant business data requirements and identification and understanding of specific data consistency and data quality issues to ensure effective delivery.
- This role may involve solution development, testing and implementation of solutions.
- Timely completion of Data Quality Issue Analysis and associated activities.
- Help build and articulate business cases.
- Perform root cause analysis of issue identified.
- To lead the team of business analysts to support various Data Quality analysis and remediation activities.
- Requirements Management - Managing change control process over requirements, and ensure requirements can be traced to business case and implemented solution.
- Document the Business Case (Benefits Realisation & Metrics / KPIs)
- Work with the Front to Back Project Manager and other consumer functions to resolve cross functional issues impacting the project.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships e,g. working groups
The candidate suitability is determined by the following skills set and experience that are detailed bellow:
- Data Analysis, profiling and data modelling
- Process change and process improvements
- Reporting process analysis and specifications
- Project management and business analysis
- Writing business requirement specifications
- Identifying new business requirements, agreeing priorities with IT and business stakeholders
- Good understanding of Finance functions
- Microsoft Office skills
