Marks Sattin Executive Search are working with a rapidly developing PE-backed Buy and Build Consultancy business, with a proven track record of remarkable expansion and success, seeking an outstanding Chief Financial Officer to become an integral part of its vibrant team, steering the company's financial strategies and oversee effective buy and build strategy, to lead the business through its next stage of profitable growth.

Partnering with a reputable Private Equity house, this is great opportunity for a seasoned CFO to deliver organic growth and execute the commercialisation of the business, whilst helping to drive the financial facets of M&A activities and integration and professionalising the finance function. Working closely with the executive team and Private Equity firm to drive business growth and profitability, identify opportunities for strategic expansion, and ensure that the financial operations of the business are conducted in a highly effective and efficient manner.

This is a multifaceted role where you will have the opportunity to provide skilled financial leadership and spearhead the development and execution of the company's financial blueprint, as well as provide accurate financial projections to support strategic decision-making. Establish and execute risk management measures to protect the company's financial health. Ensure timely and accurate financial report compilation, outlining financial performance for stakeholders. Furthermore, you will lead and mentor the finance team in order to foster a culture of excellence and continuous progress.

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
  • Experience being a CFO in a PE Backed business with a strong track record in International Buy and Build environment.
  • Previous experience in build out the finance team and professionalise the finance function in preparation for scalable growth.
  • An understanding of financial due diligence for acquisitions, and potential risks and opportunities within the sector.
  • Capability in financial modelling, valuation, and analytical acumen to guide investment decisions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to operate at pace and drive change.
