Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a high-growth, PE-backed international SaaS business. Having originally formed through a carve-out, the company has since established strong commercial traction, an expanding customer base, and is now entering a new phase of scale and value creation.

The business is seeking a strategic CFO to partner with the CEO and SLT, providing financial leadership, commercial insight, and robust decision support. This role will take full ownership of the finance function, with responsibility for performance reporting, forecasting, cash management, and lender reporting, including covenant compliance.

The CFO will also play a key role in shaping the strategic and commercial direction of the business, scaling the finance team and systems to support rapid growth, and working closely with both the Board and investors.

This opportunity would suit an experienced CFO or Finance Director within a SaaS or tech-enabled business, ideally with exposure to a private equity environment. A strong blend of commercial acumen, operational control, and leadership is essential.

The Ideal Candidate

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
• Experience in investor led, privately owned/founder led SaaS, tech, or tech-enabled businesses, with a strong track record in driving sales performance and pricing strategies.
• Proven ability to scale finance functions and deliver operational improvements in unsophisticated environments
• Skilled in designing and embedding key performance indicators and reporting frameworks
• Track record of implementing systems and building scalable processes
• Strong skills in PowerPoint, with the ability to rebuild and enhance excel based tables and graphs for clear, impactful presentations.
