Start your job searchMarks Sattin Executive Search is currently working with a PE-backed SaaS B2B business based in South East England amid rapid growth via a dynamic buy-and-build strategy.
This role is seeking a seasoned CFO but would also consider an ambitious Independent CFO seeking their inaugural venture into a private equity-backed business. Additionally, it's open for a Finance Director or Financial Controller aiming to advance into an independent CFO role in a PE Backed Business.
As the CFO, you'll play a pivotal role as a strategic partner within the senior leadership team, taking charge of the company's financial landscape. Your responsibilities will span from overseeing day-to-day financial operations to driving business growth through comprehensive KPI analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. You will be an integral business partner, providing sustained commercial, financial, and operational expertise at the board level. Managing the finance team will be part of your remit, including overseeing the development and upkeep of financial systems and procedures, integrating appropriate IT systems
The ideal candidate:
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA).
- Proven experience operating as a CFO.
- Or a Finance Director, or Financial Controller in a PE-backed high-growth business looking to make a step up into a No 1 Role, preferably in the SaaS or related sectors.
- Be a capable communicator and be able to present to both investors and shareholders.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- A high level of motivation, a "can do" attitude, and a willingness to be involved at all levels.
