Reporting into FP&A Manager

A global business based in Harrogate, working for the UK arm

The main duties of this role are to support both the planning & delivery of the annual budget and the long term plan process. You will also look after the quarterly forecasts as well as the provision of accurate, timely and insightful financial management reporting.

The role supports the FP&A Manager in preparing reports for the UK business, improving management information and budgeting and forecasting

Outline of duties

1. Work as part of a team who provide high quality, accurate and timely financial analysis

2. Prepare, analyse and report periodic accounts for the UK business

3. Support the preparation of monthly management accounts for other UK entities and UK consolidation as required.

4. Prepare the Budget, Long term plan and forecasts for UK business

5. Business partner management teams to gain a wider understanding of the business and to provide a greater understanding of finance

6. Develop, deploy and maintain weekly finance tracking tools to enhance management information

7. Liaise with the Financial Accounting team to support the production of cash flow forecasts, intercompany accounting and statutory accounts

8. Prepare BS Reconciliations on a monthly basis

Skills needed

1. A part or fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, ACMA) with experience working in management accounting or analytical roles
2. Commercially focused with strong business acumen
3. Ability to work in a pressurised team with deadlines, autonomy and high levels of responsibility
4. Strong communication skills, able to confidently business partner for both finance and non-finance teams
