Corporate Tax Accountant - 4-6 month Contract

A rapidly expanding fintech / brokerage firm is currently seeking a competent corporate tax reporting accountant on a contract basis.

Paying: £400 per day via umbrella company

The successful candidate will be reporting into the head of the finance department and will have responsibility for corporate tax compliance and transfer pricing.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with external accounting providers across multiple jurisdictions from a tax perspective.
  • Review workings included in the compilation and completion of the Corporation Tax returns, including analysing data on Tax sensitive areas.
  • Ensure tax computations and returns are filed with the relevant Tax authorities, in the correct format and on a timely basis.
  • Producing transfer pricing schedules.
  • Respond to Tax related queries from internal or external stakeholders on a timely basis.
  • Provide support to the Finance function during reporting periods such as the year end including preparation
  • Any other duties as directed by the Head of Finance in relation to Tax

Requirements:

  • Professional accounting qualification e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA, CTA, ATT (ideally 2-3 years post qualified)
  • Have some industry experience (outside of pratice)
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of corporate tax experience (ideally multi-jurisdictional)
  • Financial Services sector experience preferable
