Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with a Professional Services business based in Leeds for the role of Credit Control Supervisor. This is a newly created role, with 4 direct reports and will be responsible for the debt recovery for their international offices.
Reporting into the Credit Control Manager, you will lead the team in the managing of efficient collections and provide business partnering within their International Credit Control team.
This role will suit an experienced Credit Control Team Leader, looking to progress within the world of Credit Control.
For this role, they will pay up to £47,000 plus a discretionary 10% bonus!
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring team workflow
- Ensure the team are driving collections in line with the firm's Credit Policy to ensure collection target are achieved and bad debt is reduced.
- Build a motivated team by provide training and on-going development to team members including regular 1-2-1 reviews.
- Work closely with the Collection Manager to provide insight on collection to Head of Finance and Head of Collections
- Provide support to international collection teams around firm-wide development initiatives and any departmental projects.
- Prepare weekly/monthly aged debt management information reports, such as debt reporting and balanced scorecards highlighting key issues for discussion and proposing actions/solutions.
- Monitoring team collection performance against operational plans and ensure the team are driving partners with the necessary actions to be taken to agreed targets.
- Working on ad-hoc projects including international client focused debt initiatives, and geographic expansion of existing team.
Requirements of the role:
- An experienced senior credit professional with a track record of leading and managing teams to achieve outstanding results within a credit collections function
- Ideally having demonstrable experience working in professional services.
- Great team working skills and a passion for delivering results.
