Start your job searchMarks Sattin are working with a rapidly growing and innovative business in Garforth, Leeds for the role of Purchase Ledger clerk. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for a candidate who is keen to gain more exposure to a finance function across transactional finance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to build a long-term career in finance. You'll be joining a company that values its people, regularly rewards hard work, and offers a supportive environment for professional growth.
This role is paying up to £28,000 and is office based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high volumes of invoices using Sage 200, ensuring accurate matching with purchase orders and delivery notes
- Request and follow up on invoice approvals
- Maintain strong internal controls, ensuring all documentation is properly captured
- Monitor and manage the shared finance inbox daily
- Reconcile supplier statements and request missing documentation as needed
- Handle supplier queries and escalate issues where appropriate

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience using SAP and Sage 200
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a dynamic workload
