Finance Analyst

We are working with an exciting FMCG client looking for a Finance Analyst in Ipswich to ensure precise handling of financial and administrative tasks, supporting regulatory compliance and reporting needs, while enhancing the overall efficiency of finance and HR operations.

Location: Ipswich - Hybrid

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Industry: FMCG

Duties:

  • Perform routine accounting tasks with accurate financial entries and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare financial data for internal reports and audits.
  • Process supplier invoices and payments in line with company policies.
  • Issue customer invoices and monitor collections to support cash flow.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and HR reporting.
  • Maintain secure and compliant employee records.
  • Handle reception duties and general administrative tasks.
  • Organize documentation to support audits and compliance.
  • Suggest small improvements to streamline finance and admin processes.
  • Provide administrative support across departments.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Holds AAT Level 2/3 or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Multiple years of experience in finance or administrative roles.
  • Familiar with payroll processes and financial operations.
  • Hands-on experience with HR records and admin support.
  • Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or service industries is a plus.
  • Proficient in accounting software (SAP preferred).
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Knowledge of payroll and HR management systems.
  • Solid grasp of UK financial standards (UK GAAP).
  • Experienced in document handling and reporting procedures.
