Marks Sattin are working with a well-established consumer goods business based in East Leeds, currently looking to appoint a Credit Controller on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing finance team in a business that offers study support (CICM/AAT), a 35-hour working week, and a salary range of £25,000 to £29,000, depending on experience.

The Role:

Reporting into the Credit Manager, you'll take ownership of a sales ledger, managing both credit and cash customers. The role is focused on reducing risk, improving cash flow, and supporting wider commercial activity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily credit control across assigned ledgers
• Proactive contact with customers and internal stakeholders
• Managing queries, claims, and payment plans
• Reviewing held orders and escalating where needed
• Maintaining accurate customer data in line with GDPR
• Raising pro-forma invoices for upfront payments

Ideal Candidate:

• CICM qualified or studying towards (or AAT)
• Previous experience in credit control or customer service with transferable skills
• Familiar with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office
• Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
• Able to manage workload independently and work collaboratively within a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment
