Currently, Marks Sattin are supporting a manufacturing business based in North Birmingham with finding a Credit Controller to join their finance team. Looking for someone who can collect aged debts, reducing their debtor days. Requiring someone who is firm but sympathetic to collect monies whilst maintaining relationships.

Main Duties include:

• Chasing outstanding debts and improving debtor days.
• Efficiently communicating with customers via telephone, email, and letters
• Maintaining client relationships.
• Managing the sales ledger for a portfolio of clients.
• Escalating cases to legal where need be.
• Being an essential member of the Credit Control Function.
• Bank reconciliation and cash allocating.
• Entering data, updating, and maintaining customer documentation.
• Other Ad Hoc duties

Ideal candidate:

• Minimum 3 years Credit Control experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Experienced working within manufacturing would be advantageous.
• Ambition to develop and grow.
• Can commit to being in office 5 days a week.
