My client are looking for a Business Analyst to join their Local Finance Team in their Manchester offices on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Project Analyst and working closely with the Purchase Ledger and Project Fee Accountant you will play a huge part in supporting business operations across various offices. The role will involve administration, analysis, preparation of monthly/quarterly and annual reports to monitor profitability, performance and risk.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing/issuing reports
- Generate reports for Monthly Director Meetings
- Issue Project Financial Reports and Staff Resource Reports
- Month End Reports (Bid Expenditure, Areas of Interest Expenditure)
- Putting together Finance Packs to key metrics regarding business performance
- Key Opportunities list - updating with directors/managers and in Deltek
- System administration, training and guidance on booking time and any other timesheet related queries
- Monitoring bookings and analysing job related activity and overtime
- Recording, monitoring and forecasting holiday bookings
- Project maintenance & setting up of new bids and firm projects
- Forecast inputs
- Time and expense transfers
Requirements:
- Background in either accounts, finance or statistical analysis
- Numerate with good analytical skills
- Familiarity with MS applications (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
