Marks Sattin is delighted to be supporting a top-tier food manufacturing company with the recruitment of a Qualified Finance Business Partner to join their Senior Leadership Team at their Durham site.

With multiple sites across the UK, my client is at the forefront of the industry, supplying a diverse range of products to major retailers and food service providers.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance across multiple sites. You will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic financial insight and partnering with operational leaders to optimise business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with site managers to drive operational efficiencies, cost reductions, and profitability improvements.
  • Provide clear and actionable financial insights to support decision-making at the senior leadership level.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that enhance business performance and support long-term growth.
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Support capital investment decisions with robust financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial data into strategic business insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels of the organisation.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
