My client is a rapidly expanding business committed to excellence and innovation. As they grow, they are looking for a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Manchester. This is a pivotal role that will support our financial operations and drive the business forward.
Role Overview:
As the Finance Manager, you will work closely with the Financial Controller to manage the management accounts and ensure robust financial reporting and analysis. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of two finance professionals, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the preparation of management accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Provide leadership and support to a team of two finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Work with the Financial Controller to develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth.
- Maintain and enhance financial controls and processes.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified.
- Proven experience in a financial management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
