Finance Manager will be supporting the business with technical accounting, support Audit and leading financial reporting duties for the Group. This role would suit someone who wants to grow with a business and has a SME background. WFH 3 days a week.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare group and entity level statutory accounts and consolidated accounts under UKGAAP and USGAAP
• Interpret accounting guidelines and deliver guidance, insight, and technical expertise on how it relates to general accounting scenarios
• Drive compliance with tax and statutory reporting requirements for the Group.
• Finance Lead to annual statutory audit and financial statements processes
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes and lead preparation of year-end accounts
• Assist with the preparation of all our Regulatory reporting
• Cashflow reporting
• Produce monthly and quarterly statutory accounts including review of balance sheet entries to general ledger to ensure that accounts are in full compliance under UK and US GAAP
• Producing the year end timetable and ensure delivery to the timescales, with a view to get full sign off by agreed deadline
• Lead VAT review and submission
• Prepare Corporate TAX, PSA &P11D returns with support of external Tax advisers
• Producing reconciliations and working papers in agreed format to support statutory accounts disclosures.
• Expected to work as a business partner with all functions and divisions as appropriate and liaise with key functional individuals to provide technical statutory accounting input.

Essential Skills and Experience Needed

• Qualified accountant
• Strong Technical knowledge of FRS102 and accounting standards
• A professional knowledge and capability in relation to Financial Accounting and Corporate Taxation
• Experience of statutory / legal entity reporting
• Audit and accounting background with medium to large group of companies
• Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
• Good interpersonal, communication skills & Demonstrable Initiative
• Ability to deliver responsibilities with minimum supervision
