Finance Analyst | Professional Services | Oxford (Hybrid) | £50,000-£55,000

Marks Sattin is partnering with a prominent professional services organisation based in Oxford to hire a permanent Finance Analyst as part of their expanding finance function.

This role is ideal for someone looking to take ownership of forecasting, budgeting, and commercial analysis at a senior level, delivering meaningful insights that shape strategy, growth plans, and acquisition activity across a multi-entity professional services group.

Operating across several business lines, the organisation offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders in operations, business development, service delivery, and marketing-providing a strong platform for progression within a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

A little bit more about the role....

Reporting to the FP&A Director and supported by a junior analyst, you will play a key role in the group's financial planning and analysis activities. You'll lead critical planning cycles, produce detailed commercial insights, and support strategic initiatives including potential acquisitions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles and ensuring timely consolidation into the Group P&L
• Preparing detailed budget and forecast packs for senior leadership across the UK
• Ensuring accurate phasing and timing of upcoming projects within forecasts
• Partnering with operational, commercial, and marketing teams to gather relevant data and challenge assumptions
• Supporting investment proposals for potential acquisitions and coordinating information across multiple departments
• Creating scenario models and draft P&Ls for new business opportunities, identifying the key commercial levers

A bit about you....

• Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Strong commercial mindset with experience working with large or complex data sets
• Advanced Excel user with familiarity with financial planning tools
• Solid analytical skills with experience in forecasting and modelling
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
