Start your job searchThe purpose of the role will be to sit within the financial compliance team as you undertake regular compliance reviews on site in each country, which is where the ability to undertake international travel comes into play, to evaluate high risk areas and to test controls, processes, and compliance with group policies. Each of the offices are based in the city centre and gives great opportunity to experience the local culture and travel whilst still focused on building a career for a fantastic international business.
The role will include:
- Financial Compliance Team are responsible for five key areas; ensuring a robust financial governance framework is in place in all countries and risks are proactively mitigated
- Understanding the control framework that's in place
- Supporting the compliance with Solicitor Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules regulatory requirements
- Regular compliance reviews are undertaken onsite in each country to evaluate high risk areas as you will test control processes
- Ability to maintain new and current relationships with the country finance teams
- Monitoring activities and evaluating the firms processes and controls while recommending improvements and supporting the strong compliance culture throughout the international firm
Qualifications needed:
You will need to be an enthusiastic individual with previous experience coming from either external audit, internal audit or from a 2nd line function. Law degree or knowledge of legal work is desirable but not essential. Ideally newly qualified ACA or ACCA.
