Role - Financial Controller Location - Crewe Salary - Between £80,000 and £85,000 + £7,000 car allowance and benefits

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a well-established services business in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their offices based in Crewe on a hybrid working model.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified and would ideally suit an individual with a background from an accountancy practice. The capability to build strong working relationships throughout a business is crucial and the individual will need exposure to both IFRS and UK GAAP. Excellent Excel skills are a must and any exposure to an ERP system would be preferable although not essential. Any exposure to acquisitions and integrating them into a business would be a distinct advantage. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve the following:

• Preparation of the consolidated management accounts
• Management of the year-end process
• Cashflow management
• Review the P&L
• UK Gaap and IFRS reporting
• Assist with the integration of acquisitions
• Compute VAT calculations
• Look to update financial policies and keep abreast of financial regulations
• Assist with specific improvement projects
• Management of a finance team

Salary for the role is anywhere between £80,000 and £85,000 + £7.000 car allowance and benefits
